We visited Tommy Bahama on a Saturday night (better make reservations by the way) and we could either wait 45 min for getting served or eat at the waiting bar which we found to be a great thing since we were starving. My boyfriend got a fish sandwich and he loved it (he is quite picky for food so that he finds is that nice is amazing). I got fish tacos, which are a bit spicy (I am very sensitive to spicy food but I could still eat them and enjoy the flavor) and they were delicious too! They come with sweet plantains in a coconut sauce that is to die for! The staff are really nice and always ready to serve you as good as they can. We are definitely going back!

Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar

We visited Tommy Bahama at Harborside Place in Jupiter last week and I really like this location because I feel like you can have a lot of different atmospheres in one place. They have a lively bar area, outdoor patio seating and a dining room. We were seated in the main dining area which has a clean, neutral design that is classy but relaxed. I started off with a Grapefruit Basil Martini made with Greygoose vodka, fresh squeezed grapefruit and garnished with a large basil leaf. It was aromatic and delicious. I was also happy to see a few local beers make the drink list like Twisted Trunk&#39;s IPGA. Kicking off with the bread basket - I&#39;m such a fan of their bread and honey cinnamon butter! I could eat that butter all day. We also had a Classic Caesar to start which I loved the presentation. I went with the Thai Shrimp and Scallops for my meal. My husband loved the Smokehouse Bacon Burger. The desserts are pretty fantastic. The Vanilla Creme Brule in a Pineapple looks amazing. However, at the recommendation of our server we decided to &quot;try a bite&quot; of the Malted Chocolate Pie. Now THIS is a dessert! With its crunchy chocolate cookie crust, light but creamy mocha mousse filling and delicious english toffee crumble there wasn&#39;t a single element of this item to dislike. My one bite turned into half of a mini pie. I just couldn&#39;t stop. We also snuck away with a slice of the Key Lime Pie to go - yum. Outside of the food, the evening overall was pretty fantastic. The vibe at Tommy Bahama is really enjoyable and relaxing. Our server, Zack, was noticeably friendly, accommodating and great at his job. He was also wonderful with my daughter which I really appreciated. We also got a chance to chat with Chris, Manager, and he was equally delightful.

We live in Jupiter but usually do not frequent chain restaurants. It was a last minute decision, but were glad we went. We sat outside and our lovely server, Marissa, was VERY informative about the menu items. We took her recommendations and had the parmesean crusted chicken dish and the crusted snapper as well. The coconut shrimp we had for an appetizer were delish! We were glad we took her advice and thanked her for steering us toward our selections. Our only disappointment was our cocktails. We tried a few different ones including the pineapple mojito. The flavor was lacking but not terrible. Overall we will come back, but will stick to our typical mixed drinks instead of the specialty menu cocktails.
